Usually the temperature in a dog’s body is around 100 to 102 degree Fahrenheit (which might get a little risen with excitement). If the temperature shows a higher temperature then your dog might be sick. The other yardsticks are the heart-beat rate and the respiration rate. They are usually 80 to 120 per minute and 15-20 per minute respectively. Anything apart from these is a suggestion that something is wrong with your dog.
Also look out for symptoms such as fluid discharge from the ears or the eyes. Dogs also tend to become very weak and feel sleepy all the time. In case your dog shows any of these symptoms contact your vet immediately.
