If you want to bring home rabbits as your pet you need to know few things and follow some tips to raise them unhindered. Read on to know about raising rabbits:
• It is better to leave the wild ones free as they might have their families close by.
• Rabbits require enough space to run around and play. So do not shut them off in a small cage or behind close doors.
• If you cannot afford to get an entire room for the rabbits, make a large cage with littering area, lots of fresh water, food trays and a place to sleep. Also keep toys that it can nibble and play with.
• You can make your home safe for your pet by covering exposed wires, placing valuable items on a high platform and keeping poisonous plants (for rabbits) at bay.
